Sera Monastery: One of the “great three” Gelug monasteries of Tibet, the hot attraction is monks debate.

Drepung Monastery: Drepung used to be a seat of central government until the 5th Dalai Lama built Potala Palace.
Don’t worry, we take care of all the paperwork for the Tibet permit!

⚠️ Need to have been in China for min 90 days when applying for the permit, need to have the green health code, green arrow code without * on it.

✈️ In general, under the covid uncertainty, we would like to remind everyone to book flight tickets that are fully refundable or with a low cancellation fee as we do not cover these any under circumstances.
***ITINERARY***
Meeting Point and Drop-off Point: Lhasa, Tibet.
Day 1- Arrive in Lhasa (3600m)
Arrive in Lhasa and check-in the hotel.
After the check-in, you can take a rest and get acclimatized to the high altitude. If you feel like going out, then you can walk to the Potala Square and get amazing photos of the Potala Palace and its surroundings.
Stay overnight in Lhasa (3* hotel).
Day 2- Visit Lhasa, Potala Palace & Jokhang Temple (3600m)
Visit Potala Palace, the winter palace of the Dalai Lama. We will have the chance to see the Stupas Tombs of the past Dalai Lamas.
Visit Jokhang temple which was founded in the 7th century to promote the Buddhist religion. Inside we can see the statue of Buddha Sakyamuni (most venerated object in Tibet Buddhism).
Walk around Barkhor street where we can kora (circling the Barkor street) locals and watch pilgrims making prostration.
We can taste Tibetan tea in a local tea house. A welcome dinner will be arranged with the group.
Stay overnight in Lhasa (3* hotel).
Day 3- Visit Lhasa, Drepung & Sera monastery (3600m)
In the morning, you will visit the Drepung monastery which is one of the “great three” Gelug monasteries of Tibet. There, you can visit the biggest monastery kitchen and enjoy the Buddhist Sculpture Carving workshop near Drepung.
Afternoon, you will visit Sera Monastery which is another one of the “great three” Gelug monasteries of Tibet. The famous attraction is the Monks debate at around 3 - 5 in the afternoon.
Stay overnight in Lhasa (3* hotel).
Day 4- Depart from Lhasa
Today, you may leave Lhasa at any convenient time.
Back home sweet home, head full of wonderful memories!

*Price is based on shared room occupancy, please let us know your sharing preferences upon signing up. If you’re a solo traveler or don’t have another person to share the room with, M2adventure will do it's best to help find a roommate whenever possible but if no one is available to share, please note that you will have to take the single room supplement (see price below). Safety policy:
By signing up for a trip you ensure to provide travel history transparency and certify to inform us if you have been to any medium or high-risk area (including abroad) in the past 90 days.
Please make sure to prepare your Green Health QR Code as well as a face mask 😷 (especially for the bus drive)
If you have any symptoms such as fever, coughing, or other illness prior to the trip, please inform us right away.

Cancellation policy:
- Between booking and 15 days prior to departure: 250rmb
- Between 15 and 5 days prior to departure: 2000rmb
- Between 4 and 1 days prior to departure: 50% of the price
- On departure day or no-show: 100% of the price
Cancellation Policy // corona virus
If the weather is really bad and represents a risk for people's safety, or there is any government restriction (due to coronavirus for example) we could cancel the trip up to 2 days in advance. The deposit would be fully refunded. Note that we are NOT responsible for flight cancellation fees. This would need to be dealt with the airline company directly.
