Depending on the time and your interests, you can feed the yaks or sheep, milk the cow, try weaving, help the family to cook local food or snack... It is fascinating to see how people live their life in small Tibetan villages. If you feel like it, you can also try some Tibetan specialties such as zanba (a kind of dough made with roasted highland barley flour and yak butter with water), sweet tea, or butter tea.

- There is often a level of uncertainty with Tibet policies, regulations have a tendency to change fast.
- For the flights, we recommend buying fully refundable flights/trains (or a very low cancellation fee) or waiting until you get the permit. Note that we do not cover any flights/train cancellation fees.
- If the permit is not approved or if there are some changes of regulations from the government and the trip cannot happen, the trip prepayment will be fully refunded (we do not cover flights/train ticket cancellation fees).
