***TRIP HIGHLIGHTS***
🏜 Lhasa - You will visit all of Lhasa major sites (Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Drepung, and Sera monastery) and see stunning natural scenery such as the sacred lake Yamdrok and Karo glacier.
⛰ EBC - Everest Base Camp actually have two base camps, each on opposite sides of Mount Everest:

South Base Camp is in Nepal at an altitude of 5,364 meters

North Base Camp is in Tibet at 5,150 meters
We will go to the North (Tibet side) Base Camp. From there, you will have the best view on Mt. Everest, the highest mountain in the world! Note that on top of your China visa (for foreigners) a special permit is required to visit Tibet.
Don’t worry, we take care of all the paperwork for the Tibet permit!
***ITINERARY***
Meeting Point and Drop-off Point: Lhasa, Tibet.

Day 1- Arrive in Lhasa (3600m)
When you arrive in Lhasa, your pickup guide will greet you at the airport or railway station and take you to your hotel.
After the check-in, you can take a rest and get acclimatized to the high altitude. If you feel like going out, then you can walk to the Potala Square and get amazing photos of the Potala Palace and its surrounding.
Stay overnight in Lhasa (3* hotel).
Day 2- Visit Lhasa (3600m)
Today's tour will first bring you to the Potala Palace, the winter palace of the Dalai Lama. You will have the chance to see the burial stupas of past Dalai Lamas.
After lunch, you will head to Jokhang temple which was founded by the 33rd great king of Tibet in the 7th century. Every day pilgrims prostrate themselves in front of the Jokhang Temple. Around the temple is Barkhor street, where you can kora (a religious circle of a building, here the temple) and explore the old market.
A welcome dinner will be arranged with the group.

Day 3- Visit Lhasa, Drepung & Sera monastery (3600m)
In the morning, you will visit Drepung monastery which is one of the “great three” Gelug monasteries of Tibet. There, you can visit the biggest monastery kitchen and enjoy Buddhist Sculpture Carving workshop near Drepung.
In the Afternoon, you will visit Sera Monastery which is another one of the “great three” Gelug monasteries of Tibet. The famous attraction is the Monks debate at around 3 - 5 in the afternoon.
Stay overnight in Lhasa (3* hotel).
Day 4- Lhasa to Shigatse via Gyantse 360 km
In the morning, drive from Lhasa to Shigatse. On the way, drive over the Gampala pass (4790 m), and stop to have a glimpse of Yamdrok lake (4400m). In the distance, you can have a spectacular view of Holy Mount Nyenchen Khangsar, (7191m) and later on of the Korola Glacier.
You will then arrive in Gyantse and visit the famous Pelkor Monastery and Gyantse Kumbum and enjoy the view of Gyangtse Fortress. After one and a half driving, you will arrive in Shigatse, which is the second largest city in Tibet.

Pick up and drop off:
- The free airport pick-up time is as follows on the day the itinerary begins (From the Airport to Hotel, Fixed departure): 10:00 am; 13:30 pm; 17:00 pm
- The free airport drop-off time is as follows on the day the itinerary closes (From Hotel to the Airport, Fixed departure): 06:30 am; 08:00 am; 12:00 pm
* If these times are not convenient and you don't want to wait, you may take a taxi or public transportation at your own cost.
- All the shuttle service from/to the train station on the date of tourists' arrival and departure would be free.
Cancellation policy:
30 days or more before departure: 20% of the tour price
Between 29 and 15 days prior to departure: 30% of the tour price
Between 14 and 7 days prior to departure:40% of the tour price
Between 6 and 3 days prior to departure: 50% of the tour price + cancellation fees charged by hotels if applicable.
All cancellations made within 3 days of departure or No Show Up: 100% of the tour price
